Taking inspiration from London's rampant Open Mic nights, we'd like to showcase the talents of up-and-coming Fellinis to dyed-in-the-wool film buffs and production companies looking to scout London's hottest film talent to their teams, with our very own lovely fringe event celebrating original shorts.

The Romans named the first month of the year after Janus, the god of gateways and beginnings and the guardian of doorways and transitions. He was often depicted with 2 heads that face opposite directions. At midnight on December 31st, the Romans imagined Janus looking back to the year departed whilst also looking forward to the new and uncertain year ahead.

The Romans gave gifts on New Year's Eve of branches from sacred trees to wish recipients an auspicious New Year. Later, gilded nuts or coins imprinted with the god Janus became more common New Year's ...
